Walker Healthforce is seeking a Project Manager with 4+ years of experience to support a healthcare client based out of Illinois. This is a 13-month contract opportunity.
START DATE: 11/10/2025
HOURS/SCHEDULE: 8am-5pm CST
WORKER TYPE: W2
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of project management and/or IT work experience
- Project Management experience
- Healthcare experience
- Very strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Understanding of Quality Reporting.
- Experience in multi-discipline, high-performance work teams/groups.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience in negotiations and managing conflicts.
- Good judgment and quick business decisions.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, with the agility and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing priorities.
- Structured, organized and methodical execution; takes ownership and accountability for outcomes, drives for results and drives certainty in delivery.
- Develop trusted relationships and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight and execution of assigned program requirements and leading the effective and efficient delivery of monthly regulatory and custom reporting.
- Accountable for detailed measure tracking and maintenance of program schedules.
- Provide consultation on how best to deliver the programs including options to mitigate and/or resolve program issues/risks.
- Establish strong program structure from the outset and ensure mechanisms are functioning properly.
- Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks; elevate to the proper accountable parties as necessary.
- Conduct program planning exercises and create, maintain, and disseminate program information to team, leadership and stakeholders.
- Support Data Load team to drive deliverables and activities, remove barriers, and escalate risks/issues.
- Ensure projects within programs are delivered on time and to the agreed quality level.
- Manage project interdependencies, operational activities and external entities that may impact the programs.
- Support Data Load team efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
